Refund Policy

How to request payment review, handle unused credits and recover failed-generation credits.

Last updated: 2026-10-16

Effective date: the date AI Rumpelstiltskin first publicly enables paid purchases. That date has not yet been set; this policy is not yet in effect. The last-updated date is a document revision date, not the effective date.

For payment or credit concerns, contact support@airumpelstiltskin.video. Provide the account email, internal order ID, relevant task ID and a short explanation. Do not send card numbers, security codes, passwords or signed private media links.

Purchases and unused credits

The one-time packs are Single: 1 credit for USD $2.99, Starter: 3 credits for USD $6.99, and Creator: 10 credits for USD $17.99. There is no subscription or automatic renewal. Purchased credits do not expire. Registration gives 0 credits; Solo and Duo each use 1 credit for a 13-second video.

You can request a full refund within 14 calendar days after successful payment if the entire purchased pack is completely unused. Contact the support address above within that period. We check the original order, payment and credit-use records to verify eligibility; qualifying purchases receive a full payment refund. This is a refund of the whole pack, not a general right to cash out individual credits.

Duplicate or incorrect payments, missing purchased credits and confirmed service or delivery problems can also be reported to support. These claims are reviewed on their facts and under applicable law. The 14-day unused-pack policy does not limit mandatory cancellation rights or remedies for faulty, misdescribed or undelivered services or digital content.

Canceled Checkout and generation failures

An unpaid or canceled Checkout does not grant credits. Returning to a success page does not grant credits by itself: server-side verification determines fulfillment.

A confirmed failed generation, or cancellation before supplier submission, returns the reserved application credit under the task settlement rules. An uncertain supplier submission waits for reconciliation and is not automatically submitted again. A returned credit is separate from a Stripe payment refund. If the balance still looks wrong, send the task ID to support before creating another request.

Used credits and delivered videos

Partially used or fully used packs and delivered videos are outside the voluntary unused-pack refund offer. Confirmed billing or delivery problems are reviewed individually. AI results can vary even when a task succeeds; differences in appearance or artistic preference alone do not guarantee a refund. If a video is missing, inaccessible, materially misdescribed or otherwise faulty, provide the task ID and describe the issue. Any remedy required by applicable consumer law remains available regardless of credit use, delivery or the voluntary 14-day period.

If a payment refund is approved

The payment refund and its ledger adjustment are reconciled to the original purchase. Only that order's unspent purchased credits are withdrawn automatically; credits bought in another order are not used to cover it. If refunded credits were already consumed, the order requires review rather than automatically creating a negative balance. Repeated payment notifications must not withdraw credits twice.

Partial refunds use the cumulative refunded amount to determine a proportional whole-credit adjustment, rounded down; a full refund covers the pack's credits. A payment refund does not automatically cancel a task already sent to the AI provider. Refunded purchase value cannot be recreated by a later failed-task credit return. Support can explain an order's recorded status; no unapproved review or bank settlement deadline is promised.

Effective date and remaining disclosures

The refund offer above is approved for the paid launch. Its effective date will be the first public opening of paid purchases, consistently with the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Regional statutory cancellation and remedy requirements must be satisfied before that region is announced as supported. The operator is an individual independent developer based in Hong Kong; final legal-name and contact-address disclosures remain to be completed.
